Upon arrival, we'll be served a cup of coffee and liberation cake in the museum café. After coffee, we'll visit the Freedom Museum with guides. The Freedom Museum is located in the heart of the area where two of the most important operations on the Western Front during WWII took place: Market Garden and Veritable. Experience the fascinating story of War and Freedom Without Borders. The many authentic objects, documents, and personal stories bring the past very close. Watch fascinating films, see impressive photos, and experience history and current events.
After the tour, we'll enjoy a full coffee table with soup and a croquette at a nearby restaurant.
Then, we'll take a guided Battlefield Tour through the Nijmegen area, passing the Market Garden sites and monuments, among other places. We'll conclude our visit to Groesbeek at Wijnhoeve Colonjes, where you'll enjoy a delicious glass of wine.
