Begin uw dag met een unieke zeehondensafari op de Oosterschelde. Terwijl de boot door het water glijdt, bewondert u zeehonden op zandbanken of zwemmend in hun natuurlijke omgeving. Een gids deelt boeiende verhalen over deze dieren en het Nationaal Park.
Na deze bijzondere ervaring bezoekt u het Watersnoodmuseum in Ouwerkerk. Ontdek de geschiedenis van de Watersnoodramp van 1953 in vier indrukwekkende caissons en leer over Nederland’s strijd tegen het water en de uitdagingen van klimaatverandering.
Zeehondensafari & Watersnood
We start the day aboard a beautiful tour boat with a cup of coffee/tea and a Zeeland treat. We'll sail across the Oosterschelde and go on a seal safari. At low tide, the seals lie on the sandbanks. The skipper will bring you as close as possible to the seals and explain the route. Before the boat docks again, a delicious lunch will be served.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the Flood Museum. Here, you'll be introduced to the stories of the 1953 North Sea Flood, the reconstruction, and the experiences surrounding this flood. After the museum visit, we'll board the coach, and the driver will take you to a restaurant for a pleasant and delicious end to this day in Zeeland.
Please note: The seal safari is tide-dependent. Therefore, the morning and afternoon programs may be reversed.
